Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease, perceived usefulness, perceived trust, and Sharia compliance on customers’ interest in using mobile banking at the Binjai Branch of Bank Syariah Indonesia. This quantitative causal study involved 100 respondents who are customers of BSI’s Binjai Branch, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via a Google Forms questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that, individually, perceived trust and Sharia compliance have a significant positive effect on customer interest, with Sharia compliance being the most dominant factor. Perceived ease and perceived usefulness show a positive direction but are not statistically significant. Simultaneously, all four variables had a significant effect with an R-squared of 75.2%. The implication is that BSI needs to prioritize Sharia compliance and build customer trust through transaction security guarantees and data protection as the primary drivers of customer interest.
