Pengaruh Etos Kerja dan Komunikasi Internal terhadap Kinerja Pegawai pada Komisi Penanggulangan AIDS Kota Bandung

This study aims to examine the effect of work ethic and internal communication on employee performance at the Bandung City AIDS Commission (KPA). Work ethic reflects employees’ attitudes and commitment toward their responsibilities, while internal communication facilitates the exchange of information within the organization. Both factors are considered essential in improving organizational performance. This research employs a quantitative approach using primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of the Bandung City AIDS Commission. The data were analyzed using Pearson correlation, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The results show that work ethic has a strong and significant effect on employee performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.830. The coefficient of determination (R²) indicates that work ethic and internal communication contribute 68.9% to employee performance, while the remaining 31.1% is influenced by other factors. The regression analysis results indicate that both work ethic and internal communication have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Therefore, improving work ethic and strengthening internal communication are crucial strategies in enhancing employee performance within the organization.
