PENGOPERASIAN ECDIS DALAM OPERASI SAR PADA KN. CHUNDAMANI

Abstract

ECDIS is a navigation tool that can help human work, especially in the shipping sector. ECDIS is considered capable of helping improve safety in navigation. It is hoped that the integration of ECDIS with other navigation tools will make it easier for officers and captains to monitor navigation optimally both in navigation and when maneuvering. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the operation of ECDIS in KN. SAR Chundamani. The data collection process carried out was by using interview methods, literature study and observation. The results of the discussion are starting from activating ECDIS then selecting the map, then continuing with how to operate. The alarm sensor is also activated.  There is no doubt that KN. CHUNDAMANI is a ship that has the most complete navigation equipment in its class.
