Pier construction is a supporting infrastructure facility and infrastructure for regional development that can support the smooth frequency of trade. This construction requires tools such as heavy excavators and sand suction machines. These two heavy equipment have a rhythmic function, namely dredging sand around the dock area, therefore the heavy equipment must have buoyancy so that it can function optimally. One floating device that can support both heavy equipment is a pontoon boat. This pontoon ship will be designed according to the owner's requirements by finding the main dimensions of the ship using the trial and error method with the results of an overall length (LOA) of 10.1 meters, width (B) 6.6 meters, height (H) 2.0 meters, draft water (T) 1.0 meters. This pontoon boat is planned to be divided into 9 separate segments consisting of 6 square segments and 3 rectangular segments. These segments will be joined using nuts and bolts to become one unit. Where to operate excavator heavy equipment requires 9 segments, while operating a sand suction machine only requires 4 square segments. So these two functions cannot be used at the same time. Planning this pontoon model uses Maxsurf Modeller which can produce characteristic data and produce displacements that can accommodate the weight of construction and the PC200 Excavator. Construction calculations were carried out to obtain the pontoon weight value with a total weight of 21,293 tons as supporting data, namely stability calculations using Maxsurf Stability. Stability analysis uses International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations with criteria A.749 (18) with the results that the criteria are met according to regulations. From the results of calculating the material requirements for this pontoon boat, it can be estimated that production costs will reach Rp. 468,973,600
