Pengaruh Kinerja Keuangan Daerah dan Pandemi Covid-19 terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Sumatera Tahun 2015-2024

This study aims to determine the effect of the Regional Financial Independence Ratio, Effectiveness Ratio, Efficiency Ratio, Capital Expenditure Harmony Ratio as independent and Covid Pandemic as Dummy variables on Economic Growth as the dependent variable in 10 Provinces on Sumatra Island during the 2015-2024 period using EViews 12 for panel data analysis. The best approach for this regression model is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) using the Panel EGLS (Cross-section weights) method, determined through the Chow Test and Hausman Test. Partially, the regional financial independence ratio has no significant effect on economic growth. The effectiveness ratio, efficiency ratio, and capital expenditure harmony ratio partially have a positive and significant effect on economic growth. The Covid pandemic dummy variable partially has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. Simultaneously, the regional financial independence ratio, effectiveness ratio, efficiency ratio, capital expenditure harmony ratio, and Covid pandemic dummy variables have a significant effect on the economic growth of the 10 Provinces on Sumatra Island.
