Abstract
The development of financial technology fintech has fundamentally changed the Islamic banking landscape in Indonesia. In the midst of the rapid growth of fintech payments and lending, Islamic banking faces challenges as well as opportunities in maintaining competitiveness and improving financial performance. Although several studies have explored the impact of digitalization on conventional banking, the literature on the specific effects of fintech payments and lending on the performance of Islamic banking is limited. This gap is important to examine given the unique characteristics of Islamic banking operating on Islamic principles, as well as the urgency of technological adaptation to reach a wider market segment. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of fintech payment and fintech lending on the financial performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia
