Implementasi Program Mengajar dan Mengaji dalam Penguatan Moderasi Beragama dan Kultum Cinta oleh Mahasiswa KKN UIN Sumatera Utara di Nagori Bahliran Siborna

Abstract

The teaching and Qur’anic learning program is a form of community service conducted by KKN students of UIN Sumatera Utara to support education and religious development among children in Nagori Bahliran Siborna, Panei District, Simalungun Regency. This activity aimed to support the learning process while strengthening the values of Religious Moderation and Kultum Cinta through education, mentoring, and the development of positive attitudes. The program employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through direct observation, student involvement in teaching and Qur’anic learning activities, and documentation. The program was implemented in several educational and religious settings, namely SDN 094133 Manik Rambung, madrasah, Raudhatul Athfal (RA), and Pengajian Umi. Activities included assistance in general and religious learning, guidance in reading Iqra’ and the Qur’an, introduction to basic religious knowledge, as well as education and practice in ablution, literacy, anti-bullying, sexual violence prevention, cleanliness, and creative activities. The results showed that the activities provided learning experiences adapted to the students’ age, characteristics, and abilities. In addition to improving their ability to read Iqra’ and the Qur’an, the activities encouraged learning enthusiasm and the development of attitudes of mutual respect, affection, helpfulness, and harmonious living. Thus, this program served as a means of implementing the values of Religious Moderation and Kultum Cinta through education and positive interactions.
