Abstract

The development of digital technology has a significant impact on adolescent behavior, especially in terms of gadget use, which has increased from year to year. Adolescents are the largest user group vulnerable to negative impacts due to uncontrolled gadget use, both in terms of physical, psychological, and social health. This community service activity aims to increase adolescent knowledge and awareness of the dangers of excessive gadget use through interactive educational activities at the Youth Integrated Health Post (Posyandu Remaja) in Cot Geurufai Village, Bandar Dua District, Pidie Jaya Regency. The implementation method uses a participatory educational approach with counseling, group discussions, and audiovisual media as learning tools. The results of the implementation showed an increase in participants' understanding of the negative impacts of gadget use and a commitment to reduce the duration of gadget use in daily life.
