Abstract

Aggressive behavior among students is a common issue in educational settings, particularly during adolescence. This study aims to examine the characteristics of aggressive behavior in students and explore effective guidance and counseling (BK) intervention strategies through a literature review approach. A total of 15 relevant scientific journal articles were systematically analyzed to identify patterns, influencing factors, and effective intervention models. The findings indicate that students’ aggressive behavior typically falls into low to moderate categories, which are manifested in physical aggression, verbal aggression, anger, and hostility. Contributing factors to aggressive behavior include family conditions, parenting styles, self-control, emotional maturity, peer influence, and online game addiction. Guidance and counseling interventions, such as individual counseling and cognitive-behavioral-based anger management programs, have proven to be effective in reducing aggressive tendencies among students. Consequently, an integrated BK service model that is preventive, responsive, and adaptable is crucial for addressing and managing aggressive behavior in schools. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing a comprehensive BK service framework in educational institutions.
