Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-service features and customers’ digital literacy on the effectiveness of banking transactions among BRImo users at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Unit Puding Besar. This research employed a quantitative method with a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents and analyzed using SPSS through validity, reliability, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that self-service features did not have a significant effect on the effectiveness of banking transactions, with a significance value of 0.085, whereas digital literacy had a positive and significant effect with a significance value of 0.000. Simultaneously, self-service features and digital literacy significantly affected the effectiveness of banking transactions, with a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination was 0.676, meaning that 67.6% of the effectiveness of banking transactions can be explained by both variables, while the remaining 32.4% is influenced by other variables outside this study. It can be concluded that digital literacy is the more dominant factor affecting the effectiveness of banking transactions.
