Pendekatan Manajerial Instansi Pengelola Drainase dalam Penanganan Genangan Akibat Sampah Rumah Tangga pada Saluran Perkotaan

This study examines managerial approaches for handling urban drainage channel clogging caused by household waste accumulation. Municipal agencies employ curative methods like manual cleaning schedules, technical prevention using trash racks at inlets, institutional coordination through cross agency teams, behavioral interventions including public campaigns and sanctions, structural solutions with anti clogging channel designs and green infrastructure. Innovative approaches include waste banks creating economic value from collected waste, performance based contracts with private sector, predictive modeling for resource allocation, circular economy processing waste into recycled materials, and community based surveillance teams. No single approach solves the multidimensional problem involving technical, institutional, behavioral, and economic factors. Long term success requires consistent political commitment to implement combined approaches adapted to local conditions. Integration of drainage and solid waste policies is essential, with joint action plans containing measurable targets for waste reduction in drainage channels. Waste audits at critical clogging points help design targeted interventions based on dominant waste types and sources. Life cycle cost analysis comparing different approach combinations needs further development
