Moderasi Beragama Sebagai Paradigma Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam Masyarakat Multikutural

Recently, religious moderation has become a serious issue in the context of religious, ethnic, cultural, linguistic, and historical diversity. Trauma, intolerance, discrimination, criminalization, and even violent persecution with religious overtones persist in Indonesia. This article aims to analyze religious moderation within the framework of biblical theology and Christian educational philosophy, then formulate its pedagogical implications for Christian Religious Education in a pluralistic society. The research employed qualitative methods with a literature study approach, theological analysis, and contextual hermeneutics. The results indicate that religious moderation from a Christian perspective is not a theological compromise, but rather an expression of Christ's character that integrates truth, grace, peace, and gentleness. Therefore, Religious Education needs to develop a curriculum, learning methods, and formation practices that foster a strong faith identity, dialogical skills, social literacy, and responsible digital ethics. Religious moderation rooted in the Gospel can be the foundation for forming Christians who are steadfast in their faith, open in their relationships, and constructive in their communal life.
