Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyse anti-corruption strategies in Indonesia. Corruption is an extraordinary crime that has a systemic impact on the life of the nation and state, from financial losses to the weakening of government institutions and the erosion of public trust in the rule of law. This study aims to analyse anti-corruption efforts in Indonesia through a preventive, repressive and evaluative approach. The method used was a literature review, examining various scientific sources in the form of books, journals, legislation, and policy documents related to the eradication of corruption. The results of the study show that the preventative strategy for tackling corruption involves anti-corruption education and transparent systems within the bureaucracy. Meanwhile, the repressive approach is implemented through legal enforcement by institutions such as the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the Public Prosecutor's Office, and the Police. However, the effectiveness of law enforcement still faces various challenges, including political interference, weak integrity of law enforcement agencies, and low public awareness of the law. Therefore, comprehensive legal system reform, improved governance, and sustained anti-corruption culture building through character education and public participation are required. enforcement officers, and low public legal awareness. Therefore, a comprehensive legal reform, improvement of governance systems, and strengthening of anti-corruption culture through character education and community participation are urgently needed.
