Abstract

This research is motivated by the absence of a standard mosque-based learning guidebook at SDIT Masjid Raya Lantai Batu Batusangkar. In addition, the mosque-based learning activities carried out still face obstacles in planning, implementation, and evaluation. As a result, mosque-based learning activities are still considered less effective. The purpose of this research is to develop a mosque-based learning guidebook that has been very valid for testing and is very practical to use. This research was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method. The research was conducted using the 4-D development steps (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). The research instruments used were interview guidelines, validation sheets, and response questionnaires. Data were collected by conducting interviews, validating, and distributing questionnaires. Qualitative data from the interview results were explained through data reduction, then processed deductively, and presented in narrative form. Meanwhile, quantitative data obtained from the validity sheet were processed using the Aiken's V formula, and data from the response questionnaire were processed using the Degree of Achievement (DP) formula. This research found that the mosque-based learning guidebook is very necessary to be developed. This mosque-based learning guidebook was designed using CorelDraw Graphics Suite 2021 and Microsoft Office Word 2010. The guidebook consists of a cover, foreword, user manual, table of contents, chapter 1 (introduction), chapter 2 (overview of mosque-based learning activities), and chapter 3 (conclusion). The developed mosque-based learning guidebook is highly valid, with a score of 0.83 on a scale of 1.00, validated by three experts. Furthermore, the practicality of this teaching module is very practical, with a score of 91.9 on a scale of 100, based on questionnaire responses from 15 teachers. These validation and practicality scores indicate that the mosque-based learning guidebook is highly valid and practical for use in mosque-based learning activities.
