Pengembangan Inovasi Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris Melalui Integrasi Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berbahasa

The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has brought significant changes to the world of education, including English language learning. This study aims to examine the development of English language learning innovations through the integration of ICT in an effort to improve students' language skills. This study employed a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach, conducted through the collection, selection, and analysis of various relevant scientific sources, such as journals, articles, and academic documents. The results of the study indicate that the integration of ICT in English language learning has a positive impact on various aspects of learning. First, ICT has been proven to improve students' language skills, particularly in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, through the use of applications, interactive multimedia, learning videos, and digital platforms. Second, the use of digital technology can increase student motivation and participation by making learning more engaging, interactive, and less monotonous. Third, ICT provides synchronization and accessibility to learning, allowing students to learn independently, anytime, and anywhere according to their needs. Fourth, ICT integration also encourages increased teacher competence in utilizing technology and fosters creativity in designing digital learning. Fifth, technology enables the development of language skills holistically and integrated within a single learning process. Thus, the integration of ICT in English learning can be an effective, innovative strategy for improving the quality of learning and students' language skills in the digital age.
