Implementasi Workflow Automation N8n pada Chatbot Whatsapp untuk Layanan Informasi Kartu Hasil Studi (Khs) Mahasiswa

The purpose of this research is to design and implement an n8n-based workflow automation system to accelerate the process of accessing Study Result Card (KHS) information via the WhatsApp platform. The system's development was motivated by challenges with the SIAKAD service, which was deemed to require a lengthy access process and be inefficient for students in obtaining academic information. The research method used was a quantitative approach, collecting data through measuring system performance when automatically processing KHS information requests. Primary data was obtained from system function testing using the Black Box Testing method and measuring workflow execution time on the n8n platform, from when a message is received until the system sends an automatic reply to the user. Meanwhile, secondary data was collected through a literature review related to workflow automation, WAHA integration, and academic information systems. The system development and testing process was carried out in a self-hosted manner, utilizing dummy data adapted to the KHS format of the Sukma Medan School of Management Sciences. Based on the research results, the system, implemented through test scenarios, is capable of automatically presenting KHS information and improving the efficiency of academic information access services for students.
