This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Folder Gluer LBFG-900 (DX-900) machine at PT Temprina Media Grafika and to develop a maintenance scheduling system using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach. The problems identified in the machine include high downtime, unstable operating speed, and defects in folding and gluing results, which lead to suboptimal production performance. The research applies the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method to measure machine effectiveness based on availability, performance, and quality components. Furthermore, the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method is used to identify potential failure modes and determine risk priorities based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN). The data used in this research were obtained from operational and production records during the September–December 2025 period. The results indicate that the low effectiveness of the DX-900 machine is influenced by high setup and adjustment time, machine component failures, decreased operational performance, and a high number of reject and rework products. Based on the FMEA analysis and the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach, several critical components requiring scheduled maintenance actions were identified to reduce the risk of failures and machine downtime. The output of this research is a proposed maintenance scheduling system developed according to component criticality levels and optimal maintenance intervals. The implementation of this maintenance schedule is expected to improve machine reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance production effectiveness continuously.
